For The Children

There are many opportunities for young people of all ages to get involved in activities, meetings, discussions and social events.

THE ROOSTERS is the name of the Bethel Church Sunday Morning Club especially for 3-8 year olds.  Although we originally intended this club to cater for the above age group, we regularly find that ages slightly under and over this range are happily taking part in the group activities.

We meet between 10.30 a.m. and 11.45 a.m. on Sundays in the downstairs room of the church.

We have Bible Stories, Music, Crafts, Fun and Games and refreshments, and follow a set course of lessons using brightly coloured magazines which are synchronised with the lessons being taught to the older children's classes each week.

The children love making friends in a relaxed atmosphere. At the moment, we have around six members each week with plenty of room for lots more children to join - so we would love to invite any children who are able to come along on a Sunday morning to do so.

THE PACESETTERS meet between 6 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday nights in the church. This is the club for ages 9-13.

Mission: To talk about God in a relaxed and fun atmosphere and make Him known to our community and the world over.

Objectives:

• Look up to God in prayer for He is the source of our help.
• Draw instructions for living from the Bible.
• Have friendly fun.
• Extend the love of God to others

Motto:  SETTING THE GODLY PACE

Activities:

• Presentations on different topics aimed at challenging the kids to live godly lives. Youth Leaders, senior youth members as well as guest speakers deliver the presentations.
• Games every Tuesday.
• Sports Days. Once in a while we go out to different sports venues to play sports.
• Movie nights. We just chill out as we watch films.
• Planning nights. The young people organise their own activities under the supervision of the Youth Leaders.
